We played this course while on vacation. We have NEVER been treated so poor by the individual running the pro shop and the marshal. Four of us were playing and on hole "ONE" we were told to step it up! The marshal followed us on every hole. We could not even enjoy the game as we felt rushed! I complained to the person in the pro shop. He harshly let us know that the curse was designed to be played in 2 hours and we took 2hrs and 10 min. We had one in our party that is 78. This course does not cater to seniors. We will never play here again and I will use every social media to get the word our! Very upset individual. Mrs. Tipton

Would travel: 0-10 Miles, Not Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: Better courses for less nearby

High Desert with great views of the surrounding mountains. Lapine State Park is close and is a great place to stay if you have an RV. It's especially a nice course to play if you want to combine golf with other outdoor activities in the area. The High Desert Museum on up towards Bend is very worthwhile. The greens and fairways are kept up very well. The staff is very friendly. While you won't get gourmet food at the clubhouse, they do make a great hamburger. I look forward to playing the course again and other courses in the area.

We travel during winter months to differant areas in Ca & Ar and play an average of three times a week. We try to play differant courses for variety and the challenge they present. I would place Quail Run Golf course at the top. Play the blues for a real challenge for above average golfers or the whites for a competive challenge for average golfers. Quail Run is a must if your in Central Oregon. I would say it is one of the better courses in Central Oregon. The staff goes beyond reproach. Also I can't say enough about the fishing in the same area when not golfing!!!

Would travel: 60-120 Miles, Vacation Worthy
Bottom line: Best course in the area
